A huge selection of notifications on your desktop and other channels with support for mIRC, Pidgin, last.fm and Miranda.
Snarl is an interesting piece of software which notifies you of different events and actions from a variety of different channels.
Some of the default notifications built-in to Snarl are based on actions which take place on your PC such as hardware information, warnings, clipboard changes, USB devices being disconnected, etc.
Another part of Snarl can include other events and actions such as those of installed instant messaging applications. Currently supported applications are Cyberduck, AVM Fritz!BOX, Microsoft Exchange, Firefox, last.fm, iTunes, mIRC, Miranda and Pidgin... among others.
Snarl is also customizable in terms of appearance. You can modify transparency, onscreen position, style/skin and more.
All in all, Snarl is a very interesting concept which integrates many different popular applications which can give users prompt notifications of events and actions in real-time.
